Washing
A filtration test can include one or more washing steps performed after the main filtration. CellFit imports washing data from .cfl files.
How washes are handled
- Each wash carries its own time and mass series.
- Wash times are rebased so they continue from the end of the filtration step (and from the previous wash, for subsequent washes).
- Wash data appears alongside the filtration results and in the report.
Note
Washing data is only available from .cfl files that recorded wash steps. .cfc files contain the filtration step only.
Wash filtrate
Where recorded, the wash filtrate (mass, volume) is captured so the effect of washing on the cake can be reported.
