Test & Sample Data
After opening a file, complete the test data. Some values are imported from .cfl files; others must be entered.
Filtrate
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Mass density | Converts filtrate mass to volume. Required for volume results. |
| Dynamic viscosity | Used in the specific resistance calculation. |
Warning
Without the filtrate mass density, volume and any volume-based result remain unavailable.
Cake
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Dry mass | Used in the specific resistance denominator. |
| Wet mass | Used for dryness and related cake properties. |
Other cake characteristics — dryness, thickness, surface mass — are reported when the underlying inputs are present.
Test conditions (from .cfl)
For .cfl files these are imported automatically: operator, sample reference, fluid, filter, filtration area, pressure, temperature, and loaded mass.
Note
For .cfc files, the filtration cell area defaults to the standard test cell. Verify it matches your setup.
