File Formats
CellFit reads two filtration file formats.
CFC (.cfc)
Exported by your acquisition system. Contains the recorded filtration step as a time/mass series.
- Imported: time and mass series for the filtration step.
- The filtration cell area defaults to the standard test cell.
CFL (.cfl)
Filtration file that carries the filtration data and full test metadata.

| Operator | Person who ran the test. |
| Sample | Internal sample reference. |
| Fluid | Suspension / fluid identifier. |
| Filter | Filter medium used. |
| Area | Filtration area (cm², converted to m²). |
| Pressure | Filtration pressure. |
| Temperature | Test temperature. |
| LoadedMass | Mass loaded into the cell. |
| Washes | Optional washing steps with their own series. |
Note
Only the filtration step is used to build the main filtration curve. Subsequent steps (e.g. washing) are handled separately.
