Getting Started
Quick Start
Analyze your first filtration test in a few minutes.
1. Open a test file
File → Open and select a .cfc or .cfl file. CellFit reads the filtration step and builds the mass-versus-time curve.
2. Complete the data
Fill in the required information:
- Filtrate — mass density and dynamic viscosity (needed for volume and specific resistance).
- Cake — dry mass and related properties.
Note
Volume-based results require the filtrate mass density. Until it is filled in, volume data stays unavailable.
3. Run an analysis
From the menu, open a licensed module:
- Specific Resistance — see Specific Resistance.
- Flow Rate Ratio — see Flow Rate Ratio.
4. Generate the report
File → Generate exports a formatted Excel report with charts and tables.
Note
Excel is started during generation. Allow a few moments for charts to be drawn.
